5. He soon turned to gambling and often borrowed money from his mother.
6. As he grew up, he was addicted to it and demanded for money. Once he had the money he needed, he would care less about his mother and spend all the time away from his house
7. Whenever yagnya datta enquired about guna nidhi, his wife covered up his gambling problems and hid it from the father
1. Where is guna nidhi? I do not seem him at all these days.

3. Why don’t you relax for a while? You must be stressed with all the yagnyas you are conducting for our king
8. Guna nidhi was eventually married to a young woman known for her patience and virtue.

43. Many years later, pulastya rishi was born of bhagwan brahma. He had a son named visravasu
44. Guna nidhi is born as vaisravana to visravasu
45. He grew up to be an ardent devotee of bhagwan siva and performed a great tapas for siva.
46. Pleased by his devotion, siva and parvati appeared in front of him
47. When vaisravana was unable to bear the divine light, bhagwan siva granted him the divine vision
48. What do you wish my son?
1. Who is she? How did she attain permanent companionship of bhagwan siva? I am so jealous of her now
49. As soon as he saw parvati with jealousy, his left eye exploded

1.   ஒரு காலத்தில் கம்பிலியா நகரில் யக்ஞ தத்தா என்ற பக்தி மிகுந்த பிராமணர் ஒருவர் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்.

2.   அவருக்கு ஒரு ஆண் குழந்தை பிறந்தது.  அந்தக் குழந்தைக்கு குணநிதி என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டது.

3.   குணநிதி வேதங்களின்பால் கொண்ட பற்றின் காரணமாக அதனை விரைவாகக் கற்றுக் கொண்டான்.

4.   சில ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு,  அவரன் படிப்பை ஒதுக்கிவிட்டு தனது நண்பர்களுடன் விளையாடுவதில் அதிக நேரம் செலவிடது துவங்கினான்.

5.   அவன் கூடிய விரைவில் சூதாட்டத்தின் பக்கம் திரும்பினான். அதனால்  அடிக்கடி தனது தாயிடம் பணத்தைக் கடனாக வாங்கி வந்தான்.

6.   அவன் வளர்ந்ததும், அவன் சூதாட்டத்திற்கு அடிமையானதால் தனது தாயிடம் தொடர்ந்து அதிக பணம் கேட்டு வாங்கிச் சென்றான்.  தனக்குத் தேவையான பணம் கிடைத்தவுடன், அவன் தனது தாயை சரிவரக் கவனிக்கவில்லை. முழுநேரமும் வீட்டைவிட்டு வெளியில் நேரத்தை செலவழித்து வந்தான். 

7.   யக்ஞ தத்தா குணநிதியைப் பற்றி விசாரித்த போதெல்லாம், அவரது மனைவி அவனுடைய சூதாட்ட பிரச்சினையை தந்தையிடமிருந்து மூடி மறைத்து வந்தார். 

1.   குணநிதி எங்கே இருக்கின்றான்?  நான் அவனைப் பலநாட்களாகப் பார்க்கவில்லை. 

2.   அவன் தனது நண்பர்களின் இடத்தில் புத்தக ஆராய்ச்சி செய்கிறான்.

3.   நீங்கள் ஏன் சிறிது நேரம் ஓய்வெடுக்கக் கூடாது?  எங்கள் மன்னருக்காக நீங்கள் நடத்தும் அனைத்து யாகங்களால் மனச்சோர்வு அடைந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.

8.   குணநிதி இறுதியில் பொறுமையான மற்றும் நல்லொழுக்கத்தில் சிறந்து விளங்கும்  ஒரு இளம் பெண்ணைத் திருமணம் செய்தான்.

9.   ஓ மகனே!  தயவுசெய்து சூதாட்டத்தின் மீதான உன்  விருப்பத்தைக் குறைத்துக் கொள்.  நான் எனது நகைகளை இழந்ததால் அவற்றை அணியாமல் இருக்கிறேன், உன் தந்தை இதைப் பார்த்துவிட்டால், நாம் இருவரும் அவரிடம் மாட்டிக் கொள்வோம்.

1.   புதிதாக திருமணமான உன் மனைவியுடன் ஏன் நீ உன் நேரத்தை செலவிடக்கூடாது?

2.   எனக்குப் பெண் மீதான விருப்பம் இல்லை.  ஒன்று, எனக்குப் பணத்தைக் கொடுங்கள்  அல்லது என் வழியில் குறுக்கிடாதீர்கள். 

10. அவன் தன் தாயின் நகை, பணம் என அனைத்தையும் சூதாட்டத்தில் இழந்தான்.

11. விரைவில் கொள்ளையடிக்கும் தொழிலில் ஈடுபட்டதோடு குடிப்பழக்கத்திற்கும் அடிமையாயினான்.

12. அவன் தனது மனைவியின் நகைகளையும் பறித்துக் கொண்டு போய் சூதாடினான்.

13. ஒரு நாள், யக்ஞ தத்தா குளிக்கும்போது, ​​அவன் அவருடைய மோதிரத்தை எடுத்தான். அதுதான் நல்ல சந்தர்ப்பம் என எண்ணி, குணநிதி அந்த மோதிரத்தைத் திருடிச் சென்றான்.

14. அவர் தனது அண்றாட வேளையில் கவனமாக இருந்ததால் மோதிரம் காணாமல் போனது என்பதைக்கூட உணரவில்லை.  ஆனால் ஒருமுறை அவர் கோவிலிலிருந்து வீடு திரும்பிய பொழுது…

1.   அது என்னுடைய மோதிரம் போன்று தெரிகிறதே. ஆனால்... அதெப்படி அது என்னுடையதாக இருக்க முடியும்?

2.   இது ஒரு வகையில் எனக்கு மன்னர் பரிசாக வழங்கிய மோதிரம். இது வேறு யாரிடமும் இருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை. அப்படியிருக்க உங்களுக்கு எங்கிருந்து கிடைத்தது?

16. ஓ ஐயா!  இது உங்களுடையதுதான்.  இன்று காலையில்தான் ஒரு சூதாட்டப் பந்தயத்தில் உங்கள் மகன் இதை என்னிடம் இழந்தான்.

1.   சொல்கிறேன் என்று தவறாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள் உங்கள் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவருவது எனக்கு வருத்தமளிக்கிறது. ஆனாலும் சொல்லித்தான் ஆக வேண்டும். உங்கள் மகன் சூதாட்டத்திற்கு அடிமையாகி விட்டான்.

2.   அவன மாதிரி ஒரு மனுசனை நான் இதுவரைப் பார்த்ததில்லை.

17. என்ன..?  என் மகன் ஒரு சூதாட்டக்காரனா?

1.   எனவே, அனைத்து நகைகளும் திருடர்களிடம் இழக்கவில்லை ...?

2.   என் மனைவியும் மகனும் என்னிடம் பொய் சொல்கிறார்கள்.

3.   இப்பொழுதுதான் எனக்கு எல்லாம் புரிகிறது.

18. கோபமடைந்த யக்ஞ தத்தா வீட்டிற்கு வந்தார்.

1.   நீ ஏமாற்றுக்காரன்!  உண்மையைச் சொல்லு இல்லையென்றால் என்னை ஏமாற்றியதற்காக மன்னரின் கோபத்திற்கு நீ ஆளாகக் கூடும்.

2.   ஓ தூய்மையானவரே, நீங்கள் உண்மையைக் கேட்டீர்கள்.  உங்களிடம் உனைமையைச்  சொல்லும் அளவிற்கு என்னிடம் தைரியம் இல்லை.

3.   நம் மகன் சூதாட்டத்தில் நகைகளையும் பணத்தையும் இழந்துவிட்டான்.

4.   அவன் தனது வாழ்க்கையையே இழந்து நிற்கின்றான். அவனை மன்னியுங்கள்.

19. குணநிதி மோதிரத்தை இழந்துவிட்டு வீடு திரும்பிக் கொண்டிருந்தான். அப்பொழுது இருவர் தீவிரமாக விவாதிப்பது போன்று குரலை கேட்டான்.

1.   நீ ஒரு முட்டாள்!  போதையை  ஆரம்ப கட்டத்திலேயே தடுத்திருக்க வேண்டும். 

2.   நீ சொன்ன பொய்களால்தான் அவனுக்கு அந்தப் பழக்கம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கின்றது. இப்பொழுது தடுத்து நிறுத்துவது அவ்வளவு எளிதான காரியம் அல்ல.

3.   அவனுக்குப் பணம் உழைக்காமல் கிடைக்கும் வரை, அவன் உழைப்பைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள மாட்டான்.

20. ஐயோ, எங்கள் சொத்தையெல்லாம் சூரையாடிய முட்டாளா இருக்கிறானே!

1.   என் கண்ணில் படாமல் வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறு.  நீ ஒரு வேளை சோற்றுக்காக உழைக்கும்பொழுதுதான், ​​பணம் சம்பாதிப்பது எவ்வளவு கடினம் என்பதை நீ புரிந்துகொள்வாய்.

1.   கண்டிப்பாக அருகில் ஒரு கோயில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.  இருட்டுவதற்கு முன்பு நான் அந்தக் கோயிலைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடிந்தால் எனக்குக் கொஞ்சம் பிரசாதமும் ஓய்வெடுப்பதற்குத் தங்குமிடம் கிடைக்கும்.

24. அருகில் ஒரு சிவபெருமானின் கோவிலைக் கண்ட அவன், அங்கே சில பக்தர்கள் உள்ளே செல்வதைக் கண்டான்.

1.   ஆஹா, கடைசியில்!  இன்று எனக்குச் சாப்பிட ஏதாவது கிடைக்கும்.

25. வழிபாடு முடியும் வரை அவரன் காத்திருந்தான்...

26. ... எல்லோரும் தூங்குகிக் கொன்ண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்

1.   யாரும் எழுந்திருக்குமுன் உணவை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு ஓடிவிட வேண்டும்.  அப்பொழுதுதான் அதை நான் நிம்மதியாகச் சாப்பிட முடியும்.

35. அவனது உயிரை எடுத்துச் செல்ல எமதூதன் வந்தார்.

1.   எமன் - மரணத்தின் தெய்வம்;  தூதன் - தூதர்கள்

36. ஆனால் அதன்பின்னர் ...

1.   அவர்கள் சிவதுதர் போல இருப்பர். *

2.   ஆம்.  அவர்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் இங்கே என்ன செய்கிறார்கள்?

3.   குணநிதி சிவபெருமானின் பக்தர் இல்லை!

37. ஓ எம துதர்களே, ஆச்சரியப்பட வேண்டாம்.

1.   குணநிதி எண்ணெய் விளக்கை ஏற்றி, சிவலிங்கத்தைச் சுற்றி இருளை அகற்றினான்.

2.   அவர் சொர்க்க உலகம் செல்ல இந்த புன்னியம் போதும். *

3.   உலகம் - தங்குமிடம்

38. குணநிதி!  எங்களோடு வா.  நாங்கள் உன்னை சொர்க்க உலகம் அழைத்துச் செல்கிறோம்.  

39. சொர்க்க உலகத்தின் நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பிறகு, குணநிதி கலிங்க மன்னன் அரிந்தமானனுக்கு இளவரசனாகப் பிறந்தான்.

40. அவனுக்கு தமா என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டது.

41. தமா ஒரு சிறந்த மன்னனாக வளர்ந்தான்.  அவன் சிவபெருமானின் சிறந்த பக்தனானான்.

42. தனது முந்தைய வாழ்க்கையின் செல்வாக்கின் காரணமாக, தனது நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு சிவபெருமான் கோவிலிலும் இரவும் பகலும் எண்ணெய் விளக்குகள் எரிய வேண்டும் என்று ஆனையிட்டார்.

43. பல ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, புலஸ்திய முனிவர் பகவான் பிரம்மாவின் படைப்பாகத் தோன்றினார். இவருக்கு விஸ்ரவாசு என்ற மகன் இருந்தான்.

44. குணநிதி விஸ்ரவாசுவிற்கு வைஸ்ரவணனாகப் பிறந்தான்.

45. அவன் பகவான் சிவபெருமானின் தீவிர பக்தனாக வளர்ந்து, சிவபெருமானை நோக்கிக் கடுந்தவம் புரிந்தான். 

46. அவனது பக்தியால் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்த சிவபெருமானும் பார்வதியும் அவனுக்கு முன்னால் தோன்றினர்.

47. வைஸ்ரவணன் தெய்வீக ஒளியைத் தாங்க முடியாதபோது, ​​பகவான் சிவபெருமான் அவனுக்குக்குத் தெய்வீகப் பார்வையை வழங்கினார்.

48. மகனே! உன்னுடைய விருப்பம் என்ன? 

1.   யார் அவள்?  பகவான் சிவபெருமானின் நீங்காதத் தன்மையை அவள் எவ்வாறு பெற்றாள்?  அவளைக் கண்டு எனக்குப் பொறாமையாக இருக்கின்றது. 

49. பார்வதியைப் பொறாமையுடன் பார்த்தவுடனேயே அவனது இடது கண் வெடித்துச் சிதறியது.

1.   தாயே! என்னை மன்னியுங்கள்.  பகவான் சிவபெருமானின் மீது எனக்கிருந்த தீவிர பக்திதான் என் பொறாமைக்கு காரணமாக இருந்தது.

50. மகனே! நான் உன்னை மன்னிக்கிறேன்.  இன்று முதல், நீ எனது மூன்றாவது மகனாக இருப்பாய் *.

1.   பகவான் சிவபெருமானின் நட்பையும் நான் உனக்கு வழங்குகிறேன்.

51. நீ யக்ஷர்களின் மன்னனாக இருப்பாய் * மேலும் நான் உனக்கு நவா நிதிகளின் அதிகாரத்தை வழங்குகிறேன் ^

1.   யக்ஷர்கள் - தெய்வீக மனிதர்கள், நவ - 9, நிதிகள் - பொக்கிஷங்கள்.  இந்து வேதங்களில் விவாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒன்பது பொக்கிஷங்களில் பணம், சொந்தமாக வீடு, ஒருவரின் தேவைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்ய பணிப்பெண்கள்…  

52. அன்புள்ள நண்பரே, வந்து கைலாஷுக்கு அருகில் இருங்கள்.  நான் உங்களுக்காக ஒரு புதிய நகரத்தை கட்டித் தருகிறேன். அதன் பெயர் அலகாபுரி.

53. வைஸ்ரவணன் பின்னர் குபேரன் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டான். - சமஸ்கிருதத்தில் பேரா என்றால் உடல் என்று பொருள்.  கு-பேரா என்றால் ஊனமுற்ற உடல் கொண்ட ஒருவர் என்று பொருள்.
